Dream
Corner
Q) What does it mean when I have a recurring dream?
A) This type of dream usually means that the mind
has not completely finished venting of the emotions
and thoughts surrounding it. Once it is interpreted
correctly by a qualified therapist, then the dream
should not return.
Q) I Don’t Dream -- Is something wrong with
me?
A) We all dream. Most of us have trouble remembering
them though. Hypnosis is very effective in stimulating
our dreams and the recall of them.
Q) I always wake up in the middle of the night with
horrible dreams. What does that mean?
A) This is usually due to what we call pre-cognitive
dreams. The mind attempts to sort out the information
previously received in order to predict the future.
Q) How can hypnosis help m with my dreams and how
can my dreams help me with my behavior?
A) As stated earlier, hypnosis can stimulate the
dream cycle and allow us to vent off the unwanted
information so that we can avoid being overloaded.
At the same time it can also help us to remember our
dreams in order to understand their meaning and become
more attuned to our subconscious’ desires, habits
and memories.
Q) Is there an easy way to interpret dreams?
A) There is no easy way; however with training it
does become more fluid. Please see our dream corner
for more information and to have your own dreams interpreted
by a certified dream analyst.
